ASK vs. AX — WHAT SIDE ARE YOUR BLACK FRIENDS ON?
Chicago school teacher, Gerard McClendon, is on a mission to save his black students from the crippling social faux pas of saying “ax” instead of “ask” when engaged in a discourse with white people. Some African-Americans are calling McClendon’s actions “Poppycock” and “Tom Foolery” and politely “ax” that the school teacher go have “sexual relations with himself”.
I have always found it funny that when white people murder the english language, we call it a “southern accent”.
I think his approach to his agenda is very positive and i love that he is on a mission to try and help others, for the future, we need more people like this in the limelight.
